the adventures of 'flat ashley'

in Oklahoma City

You may have heard of this little exercise...there's this childrens book where this little boy named Stanley gets squashed by a bulletin board and "flattens out". So, he's all sad until he realizes he can mail himself to all his friends & family because he can fit inside an envelope...and hence, see the world! Well, this little girl's name is Ashley...and her first-grade class has all colored little 'flat outlines' of themselves and sent them out to people they know. So, Flat Ashley get her personal tour of OKC. :)

Above is a slide show of our honeymoon...starting at the Hermitage hotel all the way through our trip to the french side of St. Martin. We had a little relaxation and a little adventure: we went snorkeling, sailing, sunbathing... we went hiking to a secluded beach only accessible on foot...soaked up all the local flavor and fare...and even went swinging through the rainforest on ziplines! ...all among the french-island culture and that perfect turquoise Caribbean water!
